Course Content

• Performance characteristics of environmental instruments. Basic instruments measuring meteorological parameters, radiation, atmospheric pollution and remote sensing.
  
  Laboratory exercises
   
• Correlation of radiation measurements with prevailing meteorological conditions.
• Analysis of air pollution with the aid of in situ measurements, air quality indices and remote sensing tools.
• Determination of geometrical and optical characteristics of aerosols and clouds with the aid of remote sensing instruments.
• Tropospheric and stratospheric ozone measurements with the aid of in situ and remote sensing measurements.
• Study of indoor air quality with the aid of portable and non-portable in situ instrumentation.
• Study of the optical and thermal properties of construction materials.
