Course Content
- Performance characteristics of environmental instruments. Basic instruments measuring meteorological parameters, radiation, atmospheric pollution and remote sensing.
Laboratory exercises
- Correlation of radiation measurements with prevailing meteorological conditions.
- Analysis of air pollution with the aid of in situ measurements, air quality indices and remote sensing tools.
- Determination of geometrical and optical characteristics of aerosols and clouds with the aid of remote sensing instruments.
- Tropospheric and stratospheric ozone measurements with the aid of in situ and remote sensing measurements.
- Study of indoor air quality with the aid of portable and non-portable in situ instrumentation.
- Study of the optical and thermal properties of construction materials.
