Course Content

• Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker metric, expansion of the Universe, Hubble parameter, horizons.
• Thermal history of the Universe, baryo/leptogenesis, phase transitions in the early Universe, nucleosynthesis, decoupling of neutrinos and dark matter, cosmic background radiation (CMB).  
• Vacuum energy, cosmic inflation, dark energy, accelerated expansion of the Universe.
• Cosmological perturbations: Origin, CMB power spectrum, large scale structure formation.
