1. Students who were admitted before the academic year 2021-22 (for whom the provision of par.3, Art.33 of L.4009/2011 still applies) and can prove that they work at least twenty (20) hours per week.
2. Students with disabilities and special educational needs who were admitted before the academic year 2021-22.
3. Students who are also athletes and were admitted from the academic year 2021-22 onwards, and during their studies are members of sports clubs registered in the electronic registry of sports clubs under Art.142 of L.4714/2020 (A’ 148), maintained by the General Secretariat of Sports, under the following conditions:
a) For the years during which they achieve a ranking from 1st to 8th place in national championships of individual sports with at least twelve (12) participants and eight (8) clubs, or compete in teams in the top two (2) divisions in team sports, or participate as members of national teams in European championships, world championships, or other international events under the Hellenic Olympic Committee, or
b) They participate at least once, during their studies in the academic program for which they are applying for part-time status, in the Olympic Games, Paralympic Games, or Deaflympics. Students in this sub-category may register as part-time students upon their request, which is approved by the Dean of the School.
For students enrolled under a part-time status, each semester counts as half an academic semester. These students may not enroll in and be examined in more than half of the courses of the semester as stipulated by the curriculum. In this case, the maximum duration of studies (L.4957/2022, Art.76, par.1) also applies.
