Students who have not exceeded the maximum period of study (L.4957/2022, Art.76, par.1) may, upon submitting a request to the Department's Secretariat, suspend their studies for a period not exceeding two (2) years. The right to suspend studies can be exercised once or in parts, for a minimum period of one (1) academic semester, but the total duration of the suspension cannot exceed two (2) years if granted in parts. Student status is suspended during the period of suspension, and participation in any educational activity is not permitted.
