• Light propagation in optical fibers.
• Light detectors: Photoconductive detector, typical photodiode structures, phototransistor, MSM.
• Optoelectronic sources: LED, LASER.
• Optical amplifiers: EDFA, RAMAN, SOA.
• Optical communication systems: Optical links design.
