Course Content

This course contains specialized topics:

• Electronic Physics, Digital Electronics, Electronic Devices, Optoelectronics and Microelectronics (including metamaterials and metasurfaces), design and implementation of software defined radio systems
• Applied Electromagnetism (e.g. wave propagation in nonlinear media and solitons), Design of microwave components (e.g. microwave source cavity, gyrotron beam channel), Microwave device and circuit simulation tools, Antenna systems (e.g. MIMO antennas, smart antennas).
• Telecommunications and Networks: network management and optimization, wireless/wired network functionality, 5th and 6th generation communication networks, experimental verification and implementation, Internet of Things applications, quality of service provision.
